Student-centred learning
Teaching begins with the child. Each student is encouraged to discover their own potential rather than to keep pace with someone else.
Academics
How teaching and learning work at APS School & The Future Stars Academy — and what we will publish here as each detail is confirmed.
Our approach
Academic planning and educational standards at the school are overseen directly by the Founder & Director, Muhammad Saleem. The approach is deliberately unglamorous: teach the subject thoroughly, check that each child has understood it, and expect steady effort rather than occasional brilliance.
Because the institution is student-centred, teaching is paced to the class in front of the teacher. Students who need more time are given it; students who are ready to go further are encouraged to. The measure of a lesson is what the children can do at the end of it.
Teaching begins with the child. Each student is encouraged to discover their own potential rather than to keep pace with someone else.
Moral values, honesty and respect are taught alongside the syllabus, because character is what gives knowledge its direction.
Children are given room to think for themselves, to take responsibility, and to develop the leadership qualities that service to others requires.
The aim is not to finish a syllabus but to leave each student wanting to keep learning long after they leave the school.

What we ask of our students
The institution's motto — Education • Discipline • Excellence • Success — describes what we expect of every child, in the classroom and outside it.
Quality teaching and a strong academic foundation, so that every student leaves with knowledge they can build a future on.
A calm, orderly and respectful school environment in which learning can happen and good habits take root.
High expectations of effort and conduct, with encouragement for each child to reach the standard they are capable of.
Preparation for life beyond the classroom — the confidence, integrity and sense of responsibility that lasting success rests on.
